Tiffanie lives in Michigan. She has her degree in Mental Health, specializing in Child Development and a minor in Early Childhood Education. She puts her degrees to work in her young adult and new adult fantasy writings. Though she has been known to venture off into other genres from time to time. She has been published in the anthology Out of the Green, and is currently working on the second novel in her series, Bound in Blood and Shadows. The first novel, Double-Edged War was published in 2018 with her co-writer, Kayla Langmaid.

Kayla lives with her millions of cats. Or at least she wishes, she only has eight. When not working, Kayla is reading whatever she can find, watching Supernatural, or spending time with her friend, Tiffanie.
Currently, Kayla is co-authoring her first set of New Adult Fantasy Novels. The first, Double-Edged War, is out for purchase.
Holly Hook is an author of several young adult novels and enjoys writing anything under the adventure/fantasy/paranormal/science fiction umbrella. She has been publishing since late 2010 and her first novel, Tempest, was a Semifinalist in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards. Since then she has published the 5 book Destroyers Series, the Deathwind Trilogy, the Timeless Trilogy and the Flamestone Trilogy, along with Light, a companion novel to the series. She is currently working on the Twisted Fairy Tale series.
With two members who have Master's in English degrees and one Masters in Fine Arts--Writing, the proof is in the pudding.
Writing is such a lonely endeavor. Without the companionship and feedback, my writing wouldn't have flourished.

Martha J Allard is a writer of contemporary & dark fantasy. Her short fiction has appeared in magazines like "Talebones" and "Not One of Us." Her story "Dust" won an honorable mention in "Year's Best Science Fiction," 19th edition, edited by Gardener Dozois and her story, "Phase" was nominated for a British Science Fiction Award. Her nonfiction has appeared in Lend the Eye a Terrible Aspect and Deaths Garden. Her novel, Black Light, is a tale of love, sacrifice, and rock & roll in the 1980's. Martha is a life-long resident of Flint where she found magic between the cracks of broken concrete. She joined Flint Area Writers at the age of sixteen, and credits the group with teaching her how to write.

Gerald Browning is a Flint native who resides in the small town of Lowell, MI. He is an adjunct English department faculty member at Grace Bible College, Muskegon Community College, and Baker College of Muskegon. He is a regular contributing writer for Open Court Press Popular Culture and Philosophy series. His first novel "Demon in My Head" was published in 2011. When not teaching English or writing, Gerald can be found in a dojo where he regularly cross trains in martial arts. He contributes to a martial arts publications such as Slanted Flying and On the Ground. Martial arts, fitness, creativity and education are his passions, but nothing competes with his love for his family. Gerald is married with two sons, Mason (3 years) and Miles (3 weeks). Chris Dungey is a retired auto worker living in Lapeer, Michigan. He has written short fiction and poetry all of his adult life. Nearly 40 stories and 140 poems have found publication in small press periodicals and in online literary magazines. Mr. Dungey sings in a Presbyterian choir, camps at sports car races, workshops his stuff with Flint Area Writers, cares for and feeds two wood-stoves, and spends altogether too much time in Starbucks. Pace-Lap Blues is his first published collection.

K.C. Karr writes about brave teenagers and unfortunate situations. By day, K.C. is a sonographer, coffee addict, and proud member of SCBWI and the Flint Area Writers group. K.C. is repped by Ali Herring at Spencerhill Associates.
Valarie Savage Kinney
Valarie Kinney is a multi-genre writer and Ren Fest junkie with a wicked caffeine addiction. She resides in Michigan with her husband, four children, and two insane little dogs. She is the author of The Secrets of Windy Springs series, Heckled, Slither, and Just Hold On, as well as short stories included in various anthologies.
Cathy Carlson Malmrose started out as a technical writer, writing 30+ user manuals from start to finish. In 2001, she switched to writing research-based books about Asperger Syndrome under the pen name Ashley Stanford. She is currently working on a slew of manuscripts including both fiction and non-fiction. Next pen name TBD.
John is the man. He writes stone-cold characters carved from grave marker marble. Don't mess with him. But support his work. Now. Like right now. Seriously.
Marjorie Stedron was born in Chinon, France but raised in Flint, Michigan. She has a degree in Fine Arts from the College of Creative Studies in Detroit concentrating in illustration, particularly portraiture. She taught various art classes at the Flint Institute of Arts, stopping to raise her three children, In February 2017 a voice spoke to her in a dream and told her to write. She wasted no time. Currently she is finishing her first novel, "Shut up and breathe... a love story", with plans for the sequel. She prefers fiction stories finding inspiration from music of all genres, old movies and everybody she has ever met. She currently lives in Flushing, Michigan but dreams of living close to one of the Great Lakes.
